3. After separating the heating plate from the PUR hot melt glue barrel, a special mechanism on the heating plate of the PUR hot melt glue machine must be used to close the channel between the heating plate and the pump body before cleaning any residual glue to prevent solidification.
4. When cleaning the heating pressure plate of the PUR hot melt glue machine, personnel must wear specialized heat-resistant protective clothing and heat-resistant gloves. Avoid skin contact with high-temperature parts such as the hot melt glue barrel, molten PUR hot melt glue, and the heating plate to prevent burns.

7. The cleaning time should not exceed 10 minutes, and no hard tools should be used to clean the heating plate of the PUR hot melt glue machine.
8. After cleaning the pressure plate of the PUR hot melt glue machine, immediately press the pressure plate into a new PUR hot melt glue barrel to avoid exposing it to the air for an extended period. When pressing the heating plate into the glue barrel, the pressure in the lifting cylinder should gradually increase, and high-pressure gas should not be used directly to prevent accidents. Pay attention to the safety of operators.
9. When pressing the pressure plate into the glue barrel in the PUR hot melt glue machine, a small amount of silicone oil can be applied to the sealing ring for lubrication. This ensures smooth operation and protects the sealing ring.
10. After pressing the pressure plate into the new polyurethane hot melt glue barrel, open the overflow valve to completely exhaust any residual air in the barrel. Remove any air bubbles in the PUR hot melt glue with air to prevent air-containing polyurethane hot melt glue from entering the pump body and the throat tube of the hot melt glue machine.
11. After pressing the pressure plate into the polyurethane hot melt glue barrel and expelling the air, tighten the overflow valve. At this point, the air pressure in the travel cylinder can be appropriately increased for smoother operation.
12. After changing the PUR polyurethane hot melt glue, it is necessary to wait for at least 20 minutes for the PUR hot melt glue machine to heat up before starting the gear pump and motor. Starting the gear pump and motor immediately can cause damage to the polyurethane gear pump, reducing the service life of the PUR hot melt glue machine.
