Operating Procedures for Laminating Machine
The temperature control instrument uses a thermocouple to detect temperature. Due to its installation position, surrounding temperature, and airflow, there might be significant inaccuracies in temperature measurement. The indicated temperature on the gauge is relative; hence, it should be adjusted based on practical processing experience.
During machine startup and heating, someone must be present to supervise the process.
Prior to startup, ensure that the electrical facilities are in good condition.
Check all safety accessories such as protective covers and plates thoroughly before starting the machine. They must remain intact and should not be dismantled arbitrarily.
Do not insert fingers into the rollers while the machine is running to avoid injury. The temperature of the pressure rollers is high; do not touch them to prevent burns. When cleaning the machine, operate it at a low speed and clean it at the correct positions, preventing fabric or material from getting caught in between the rollers.
When changing filters, adjusting the die, or adjusting the material feeding, gloves must be worn. Wearing gloves is strictly prohibited during certain tasks like traction.
Working personnel must wear fitted clothing and are strictly prohibited from working bare-chested, wearing shorts, skirts, formal dresses, etc.
If there are plastic scraps or paper debris above the composite rollers, do not directly use your hands to remove them. Use plastic or wooden sticks to clear these.
Stop the machine to clean the film wrapped around the composite rollers.
While stopping the machine, release the pressure from the pneumatic system. Separate the pressure rollers from the rubber rollers, loosen the doctor blade and pre-pressure roller promptly to prevent long-term deformation or damage due to sustained pressure on the rollers.
When repairing or inspecting the machine, switch off the main power supply. The electrical system of the machine should be well-insulated to prevent moisture. Cut off the power when the machine is not in use to prevent accidents.
It is strictly prohibited to place any tools or miscellaneous items on the machine. The working clearance between the adhesive coating rollers and the metering rollers is minimal. Any hard object pressed into the rubber roller surface can cause depressions or cracks. This might lead to either prolonged recovery of elasticity or direct scrapping of the roller.
Be cautious of electric shocks from electrical leakage. Every employee should know how to cut off the main power supply in emergencies before starting work.
Newly installed machines require enhanced lubrication. During the initial running-in period, avoid rapid operation of the machine.
Usage Precautions for the Laminating Machine
The power switch box must be connected to a grounded power switch box to ensure electrical safety.
It is preferable to have a dust-free environment in the laminating workshop to ensure effective lamination.
Before lamination, completely remove dust from the equipment and laminating adhesive rollers.
Do not insert fingers into the rollers while the machine is in operation to avoid injury. The temperature of the pressure roller is high; do not touch it to prevent burns.
Do not open the machine's cabinet doors while it is running to avoid electric shock or hand injuries from gears.
During maintenance or repair checks, ensure that the main power supply is cut off. Maintenance or repairs should not be conducted while the machine is powered on. The electrical system of the machine should be well-insulated to prevent moisture. Cut off the power when the machine is not in use to prevent accidents.
Be cautious while disassembling heating tubes to avoid damaging them.
If oil stains are found under bearings during inspections or maintenance, wipe them off to prevent oil from affecting the normal operation of the machine.
Avoid multiple people operating the equipment during debugging. Operators must ensure that no one touches moving parts.
Before each startup, clean the surfaces of all rollers and ensure they are free of dust. If the machine experiences faults or abnormal sounds, analyze and eliminate the cause promptly. Only resume using the machine once everything is normal.
