● Spinning-adhesive surgical clothing
The spunbonded surgical clothing is generally made of polypropylene slice as raw material, and the melt spinning method is adopted to melt and extrude the polypropylene resin in the screw extruder, form a melt trickle through the spinneret, and form polypropylene filament after cooling and stretching. The polypropylene filament fiber net is hot-rolled and reinforced through the filament laying net, and finally form the spunbonded nonwoven fabric.
The color of the product is obtained by adding color masterbatch in the melt spinning process.
The spinning and bonding process has the characteristics of high yield and high speed. The nonwoven cloth has good tensile resistance, but the thin spinning and bonding cloth has poor uniformity and permeability resistance, hard hand feel, and the shielding performance of the surgical clothing made by the spinning and bonding process is not good, and the product has a paper-like feeling, but the production cost is low. They are usually hospital gowns and visiting gowns.
● Hot rolled surgical gowns
Short-fiber hot-rolled nonwoven operating clothes are made of synthetic staple fibers such as polyester, polypropylene and Vinyllon. After being mixed and opened and combed (laying nets), uniform fiber nets are formed, and hot-rolled nonwoven fabrics are reinforced. The color of the product can be obtained by mixing a quantity of colored fibers. The performance of hot-rolling surgical clothing is similar to that of spunbond method, but under the condition of the same surface density, the strength is lower and the feel is softer. Because it does not have the advantages of spunbond method in production speed and cost, it is rarely used in the market at present.
● SMS Surgical gowns
SMS surgical clothing is made of polypropylene resin as raw material, and spunbonded/melt-blown/spunbonded filament fiber net is formed on the same production line by spunbonded and melt-blown processes, which is strengthened by hot rolling, or two layers of spunbonded cloth and one layer of melt-blown cloth are supercombined by hot rolling to form SMS(two outer layers of spunbonded cloth and the middle layer of melt-blown cloth) composite material.
The color of the product is also obtained by adding color masterbatch to the spinning solution. SMS materials make comprehensive use of the good tensile resistance of spunbonded cloth and the excellent filtering and shielding performance of melt-blown cloth, and make up for the shortcomings of poor permeability of spunbonded cloth and low strength of melt-blown cloth, achieving the purpose of learning from each other and reflecting the advantages. Therefore, SMS surgical clothing has good filtration, shielding, blocking, impermeability and tensile resistance. The shortcomings lie in poor air permeability and comfort, and the product has the feeling of paper.
● Spiny surgical clothing
The fiber material of the spunlaced surgical clothing is made of polyester and wood pulp, polyester and viscose fiber, or 100% cotton fiber.
Spunlaced nonwoven fabric feels soft, has good drapiness, breathable and hygroscopic, and has high strength. Spunlaced fabric used for operating clothes should be formed by color paste coating and functional finishing. The spunlaced surgical clothing is superior to the above products in terms of comfort performance, and has better impermeability after functional finishing, but the production cost is relatively high. Spunlaced nonwovens made of wood pulp and polyester fiber after finishing have become a good material for making surgical clothing, and more and more popular.
