1. Adhesion of end cover:
The adhesion between the metal end cap or plastic end cap and the filter element, the air filter usually uses PVC heat curing adhesive, suitable for automatic production, taking the heat to 180℃, 10 minutes can be cured; Or PU microfoamed adhesive, this adhesive consists of two components according to A certain ratio of use, group A is divided into polyether (blowing agent), group B is divided into liquefied MDI, A; B The quality ratio is 8:1 or 6:1, which is related to the requirements of customers and products. The glue is required to have good fluidity, sufficient bonding strength, no bubbles in the glue, and resistance to media. Fuel filters and oil filters used to be bonded with PVC thermosetting adhesives, but also used two-component PU glue or epoxy glue, or PA hot melt adhesive.
2, end cover, frame casting molding:
In the air filter, the end cover and frame of Japanese cars and other models are directly molded with PU glue, this adhesive is also composed of two components according to A certain ratio, group A is divided into polyether (blowing agent), group B is divided into liquefied MDI, A, B mass ratio of 100:35. In this way, there is no need for iron covers, plastic covers and sealing rings. It requires anti-vibration, no brittle cracking, good sealing performance, no change in geometry after curing, moderate softness and hardness, smooth surface, and no toxicity. In the fuel/oil filter, the PA polyurethane hot melt adhesive is poured and formed, replacing the metal cap, sealing ring and PVC hot cure end cap adhesive.
3, filter bonding:
The production of the filter element is to first soften the filter paper with moisture (north), spray glue to both ends of the paper through the spray gun of the hot melt glue machine, and then fold paper, bond and seal. Filter paper and filter paper bonding, requiring good adhesive flow, penetration into the fiber, solid bonding, good sealing, no leakage, smooth at both ends after curing, dust is not easy to accumulate, good elasticity, vibration resistance, no brittle crack. According to the requirements of different models, it may be EVA hot melt adhesive, PO hot melt adhesive, or PA hot melt adhesive, and PA hot melt adhesive with high temperature resistance requirements.
4, bonding joint:
The seam bonding between the filter paper and the seam between the filter paper and the filter paper is usually made of EVA hot melt adhesive, PO hot melt adhesive, PA hot melt adhesive, and the filter paper joints of the air filter are commonly used to EVA or PO hot melt adhesive, while the filter core joints in the oil filter are now multi-bonded with PA polyurethane hot melt adhesive, and used to be connected and sealed with metal clamps. PA adhesive has very good resistance to high temperature and medium.
5, air filter reinforcement back rubber line:
The filter of small cars, SUVs and other cars, in order to strengthen the tooth filter element, the filter element is longitudinally lined with several rubber lines to connect the tooth filter paper to form a solid whole. This glue line, now most of the hot melt adhesive, EVA hot melt adhesive, PA hot melt adhesive, in the past also used epoxy resin adhesive. The glue is required to have a certain hardness, so that the filter is firm, but also to have a certain flexibility, even at lower temperatures, the glue line can not be brittle and broken.
6, rubber ring and metal cover bonding:
In the larger air cleaner, the end cap of the filter is metal, and the outside of the metal cap requires a rubber sealing ring, which is commonly used to bond the sealing ring with the metal cap, such as 1495, 495, etc., and is also used to bond EVA hot melt adhesive. It requires strong bonding, extrusion resistance and impact resistance.
7, air conditioning filter edge sealing glue:
Air conditioning filter border seal bonding, edge sealing strip through the roller, hot melt glue machine gun head evenly scraping glue, after the manual edge sealing strip pasted to the filter element around to complete the bonding seal. The edge sealing adhesive of air conditioner filter is mostly EVA hot melt adhesive, which requires good fluidity, high bonding strength and excellent low temperature resistance. Some manufacturers also use a manual hot melt glue gun to melt the hot melt glue stick, apply the glue to the edge sealing strip, and then attach it to the filter element.
