Preparations & Parameter Setting

The operator turns on the machine, sets the glue temperature (80-220℃) through the control panel, and waits for the hot-melt glue to melt completely. Adjust the pressure rollers to match the panel thickness and edge band material, and set the feeding speed via the knob-based speed regulation.

Panel & Edge Band Preparation

The operator cuts the edge band to the required length (matching the panel edge) and places the panel on the worktable. For curved edges, the edge band can be preheated to enhance flexibility.

Glue Application & Edge Banding

The operator manually guides the panel through the glue application unit, where the glue is uniformly applied to the panel edge (or both the panel edge and edge band for double-sided gluing). The edge band is aligned with the panel edge, and the pressure rollers apply uniform pressure to bond the two tightly.

Trimming & Refining

 

After edge banding, the operator uses the trimming knife to cut off excess edge band on the upper, lower, and ends of the panel. Enhanced models with fine trimming, scraping, and polishing units can further refine the edge, eliminating glue residues and ripple marks for a smooth, professional finish.
