Meltblown nonwoven fabric machinery is a high-tech product that directly spins high-melt-index polypropylene chips into fabric. The production process involves melting polypropylene chips using a screw extruder, which are then ejected through spinneret holes to form fibers. These fibers undergo strong stretching under high-speed (1300m/min) hot air flow, creating extremely fine short fibers. These fibers are then adsorbed onto a forming net curtain, where they adhere to each other due to the maintained high temperature, forming meltblown nonwoven fabric, which is then rolled and packaged.

 

The main equipment and functions of the meltblown nonwoven fabric production line are as follows:

Screw extruder: The screw diameter is generally 100-120mm with a length/diameter ratio of 30, aimed at melting the chips.

Metering pump: Its role is precise metering to control output and fiber fineness. It is a gear pump that continuously delivers the melt to the spinneret.

Melt filter: It filters out impurities from the melt to prevent clogging of spinneret holes.

Conveying net curtain: It evenly receives and spreads the meltblown fibers onto the net, forward conveying, with a suction fan below to exhaust the hot air.

Spinning box: A key equipment in the meltblown process, it contains a long strip spinneret plate filled with a long row of spinneret holes, generally about 1500 holes per meter. Hot air nozzles are installed on both sides of the spinneret plate, and hot air nozzles are installed below, forming a 50b angle with the spinneret holes. This immediately stretches the fibers with high-speed hot air flow, breaking them into ultrafine fibers.

Feeding system: Consisting of 3 metering hoppers for measuring white chips, masterbatch, and additives, respectively. These three components enter the mixing mixer below for uniform blending before production.

Hot air blower and heater: Provide the temperature and pressure of the hot air used for spinning airflow stretching, heated electrically with significant power consumption.

Winder adopts: fully automatic winding to roll and package the meltblown fabric.
