It is suitable for cutting wide materials into multiple narrow strips or pieces of consistent size.

2. Differences in Uses between Cutting Machines and Slitting Machines

Cutting Machine: Typically used for cutting whole sheet materials, such as paper, fabric, adhesive tapes, and leather. It is widely used in the shoe manufacturing, paper, and printing industries.

Slitting Machine: Mainly used for cutting roll materials, such as plastic films, adhesive tapes, and fabric strips. It is primarily used in the food, pharmaceutical, and printing industries.

3. Differences in Precision between Cutting Machines and Slitting Machines

Cutting Machine: Cutting machines have a higher cutting precision, usually achieving about ±0.1mm. For materials with a thickness of 2mm or more, their precision surpasses that of slitting machines. Therefore, when high precision in material size is required, a cutting machine is the better choice.

Slitting Machine: The cutting precision of slitting machines is generally around ±0.2mm. Although their precision is not as high as that of cutting machines, slitting machines have efficient cutting speeds and stable cutting quality, effectively improving production efficiency.
