The characteristics of medical breathable adhesive tape include:
- Breathability: Made of breathable materials, medical breathable adhesive tape allows the skin to breathe, reducing discomfort and skin damage for patients.
- Softness: Medical breathable adhesive tape is soft and conforms to the curves of the patient's skin, providing a comfortable user experience.

Classification of Medical Breathable Adhesive Tape
Based on the different base materials, medical breathable adhesive tape can be classified into the following types:
- PE Tape: PE tape is a non-woven fabric-based medical breathable adhesive tape with evenly distributed laser micropores, providing comfortable and breathable adhesion. It causes no irritation or allergic reactions to the skin. With moderate adhesiveness, it can be painlessly removed without leaving residue. It doesn't peel off or ooze adhesive, and unwinding doesn't generate lint. It is used for external wound surgery dressing, fixing infusion needles, external application of medicines, formulation application, and skin protection.
- Non-woven Fabric Tape: Non-woven fabric tape uses polypropylene (a type of non-woven fabric material) as its base material. It is characterized by softness, breathability, and non-irritating properties to the skin, similar to PE tape.
- Cloth-based Tape: Made of cotton fabric, cloth-based tape has good tensile strength, can be torn easily in both longitudinal and transverse directions, and offers good breathability. It is not suitable for direct application to wounds but provides protection during movement. It causes no irritation or allergic reactions to the skin, has moderate adhesiveness, and leaves no residue.
