As we all know, wood is increasingly scarce, the gradual reduction of large plates has become an established fact, and furniture is an irresistible trend of The Times. If home manufacturing enterprises want to take advantage of the price, they must start from the panel process, so that all aspects of the performance of the panel furniture are as close as possible to the single board furniture.
A good piecing process must follow the following criteria: natural texture, like a single board. In other words, the furniture should not only have a natural and smooth texture, but also be stable and firm enough to meet the needs of furniture products.
What are the factors that affect the stability of the panel?
Wood factor
Wood will crack and deform in the absence of external force, mainly due to the internal stress in the wood. In addition to the internal stress of the wood unit itself, there is also the stress between the wood units - the internal stress generated in the process of the board. These in turn are related to the density of the material, water content, surface roughness, splicing method, adhesive type, amount of glue, gluing pressure, and temperature and humidity in the air.
Apply the amount of glue
When the amount of glue is too low, there will be a lack of glue and uneven distribution of adhesive. When the amount of glue is too high, the adhesive layer is too thick, and the volume contraction of the adhesive layer during curing will produce internal stress and destroy the cohesion of the adhesive and reduce the bonding strength.
Gluing pressure
The gluing pressure is one of the most important factors affecting the effect of solid wood panels. Pressure is conducive to the full penetration of the glue, so that the glue and wood active molecules combined to form a uniform film. If the pressure is not suitable, it is easy to extrude the glue, resulting in lack of glue and penetration phenomenon, which may lead to serious deformation of the material. The level of gluing pressure is closely related to the assembly equipment, so the selection of the assembly line is very important.
Post-curing
After the assembly is completed, insufficient maintenance is also easy to cause cracking and sinking of glue thread after post-processing. The panel should be placed at least 24 hours before surface treatment, especially smooth surface treatment needs to be placed longer.
