Activated Carbon Masks

Activated carbon possesses strong adsorption capabilities. The filtration principle of activated carbon masks relies on the active carbon layer within the mask material, which adsorbs harmful gases into its pores. The activated carbon in masks mainly exists in two forms: activated carbon fibers and activated carbon particles.

The main body can be understood as the frame of the mask, composed of two outer layers of non-woven fabric sandwiching a layer of ultrafine melt-blown filter paper and a layer of high-efficiency activated carbon cloth, specifically:

• Outer non-woven fabric: Filters particles larger than 10 micrometers in the air and acts as a moisture barrier. Middle layer of highly adsorbent activated carbon cloth: Adsorbs various industrial exhaust gases and toxic gases, with long-lasting effectiveness and resistance to saturation.
• Middle layer of ultrafine filter paper: Effectively blocks airborne particles smaller than 2.5 micrometers, providing good dust and bacteria filtration.
• Inner layer of ultra-soft non-woven fabric: Possesses special properties such as acid and alkali resistance, bacterial filtration, and skin-friendly characteristics, ensuring comfortable wear without causing allergies.
• Two ear loops: Primarily used for securing the mask to the face.
• Nose strip: Used to shape and fit the mask to the nose.
• Facial arc reserve layer: Helps maintain a curved shape to prevent the mask from touching or adhering directly to the face.
