136th Canton Fair
The China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, was founded in 1957 and held twice a year in Guangzhou in the spring and autumn. It is a comprehensive international trade event with the longest history, the largest scale, the most complete variety of goods, the largest number of buyers attending the meeting, the widest distribution in various countries and regions, the best transaction effect and the best reputation in China.
With the theme of "serving high-quality development and promoting high-level opening", the 135th Canton Fair was held in Guangzhou from April 15 to May 5, 2024, with an exhibition area of 1.55 million square meters and a total of 74,000 booths. About 28,600 domestic and foreign high-quality enterprises participated offline, and a total of 246,000 overseas buyers from 215 countries and regions participated offline. Overseas buyers spoke highly of the Canton Fair, believing that it is the best platform to realize one-stop procurement. In order to expand imports and promote trade balance, since the 101st session, the Canton Fair has set up an import exhibition to help international enterprises expand business opportunities in China and the world. After 35 years of development, it has attracted more than 17,000 overseas enterprises from more than 100 countries and regions, including many high-quality national and regional pavilions and world-renowned enterprises. A total of 680 enterprises from 50 countries and regions participated in the 135th Canton Fair Import Exhibition.
