This automatic spray line is specially designed for plate-shaped workpieces such as panel furniture, solid wood doors, cabinet doors, handicrafts, decorative panels, calcium silicate boards, magnesium oxide boards, and cement fiber boards. It can carry out high-quality spray painting on the flat surfaces and four sides of these workpieces, and is suitable for large-scale continuous production operations.
Components of Automatic Spray Line
It mainly undertakes the task of smoothly transporting workpieces among different stations on the spray painting line. It has the characteristics of a solid structure and stable transportation, which can ensure that the workpieces do not shift or shake during transportation, providing an accurate positioning basis for subsequent spray painting and other processes.
It is used to remove dust and impurities on the surface of workpieces before spray painting. Through an efficient vacuum suction and filtering system, it can effectively remove the fine particles attached to the workpiece surface during processing, storage, or handling, ensuring the cleanliness of the spray painting surface, thereby improving the adhesion and quality of the spray paint and avoiding spray painting defects caused by dust.
It is one of the core components and is equipped with multiple professional spray guns. The spray guns can flexibly adjust the angle and position according to the shape and spray painting requirements of the workpieces, realizing all-round and uniform spray painting on the flat surfaces and sides of the plate-shaped workpieces. It has a precise paint flow control system that can ensure that the amount of each spray painting is stable and meets the process standards, guaranteeing a high-quality spray painting effect.
It is mostly used for the transportation of workpieces after spray painting and the connection of subsequent processes. Its roller design facilitates the rapid transfer of workpieces and can achieve seamless connection with other production equipment or production lines, improving the coherence and efficiency of the entire production process. Meanwhile, it also helps to reduce the risk of scratches during the initial curing stage of the coating on the workpiece surface.
Operation Process
Preparations before Starting
Check whether the mechanical parts of the belt conveyor, dust cleaner, automatic spray painting machine, and roller conveyor are normal and whether there are any foreign objects blocking their operation.
Check whether the electrical connections of each device are firm and whether the power supply is normal.
Add appropriate paint to the paint supply system of the automatic spray painting machine, and ensure that the paint delivery pipelines are unobstructed. Adjust the parameters such as the flow rate and pressure of the paint.
Turn on the vacuum suction system of the dust cleaner and check whether its suction is normal and whether the filtering device is clean.
Loading
Place the plate-shaped workpieces to be spray painted at the starting end of the belt conveyor according to the specified direction and position. Ensure that the workpieces are placed stably and do not overlap or squeeze each other.
Spray Painting Operation
Start the belt conveyor, and the workpieces start to move towards the station of the dust cleaner.
When the workpieces pass through the dust cleaner, the surface dust is removed.
Then they enter the station of the automatic spray painting machine, and the automatic spray painting machine sprays paint on the workpieces according to the preset program. Operators need to monitor the spray painting process on the spot, observe the working status of the spray guns, the spray painting effect of the workpieces, etc. If any abnormality is found (such as spray gun blockage, uneven spray painting, etc.), the machine should be stopped in time for handling.
Unloading and Subsequent Processing
The workpieces that have completed spray painting are transported by the roller conveyor to the unloading end or subsequent drying, curing, and other processing areas.
For drying and curing processing, according to the properties of the paint and process requirements, the workpieces can be sent to corresponding drying equipment (such as drying ovens, ultraviolet curing devices, etc.) for processing so that the paint is cured on the workpiece surface to form a firm and beautiful coating.
Shutting Down and Maintenance
After the spray painting operation of a batch of workpieces is completed, turn off the power supplies of the automatic spray painting machine, dust cleaner, belt conveyor, and roller conveyor in turn.
Clean the spray guns of the automatic spray painting machine to prevent paint residue from blocking the spray guns; clean the filtering device of the dust cleaner to maintain its vacuum suction efficiency; check and clean the conveyor belts, rollers, and other components of the equipment to ensure that there is no paint residue or debris accumulation, so as to prepare for the next spray painting operation.
Working Principle
The workpieces are placed on the belt conveyor at the loading end, and the belt conveyor transports the workpieces at a set speed to the station of the dust cleaner.
The dust cleaner uses a powerful vacuum suction device to create negative pressure, sucking the dust on the workpiece surface into the filtering system. After filtering, clean air is discharged, making the workpiece surface meet the cleanliness requirements for spray painting.
After the dust is removed, the workpieces continue to be transported to the station of the automatic spray painting machine. The automatic spray painting machine controls parameters such as the opening and closing of the spray guns, the amount of spray paint, and the spray angle according to the preset program. The paint is sprayed out from the spray guns under certain pressure, forming atomized paint mist that evenly adheres to the flat surfaces and side surfaces of the workpieces. The layout and movement track of the spray guns are carefully designed to ensure that all parts of the workpieces can be evenly and high-quality covered by spray painting.
The workpieces that have completed spray painting are then transferred to the roller conveyor, and the roller conveyor transports the workpieces smoothly to subsequent drying, curing, or other processing stations. During the whole process, the system monitors the position of the workpieces, the spray painting status, and other information in real time through sensors and the control system to ensure the accuracy and stability of the entire spray painting operation.
