Fire Resistant Coating

Fire Resistant Coating
This fireproof coating is a two-component heat-insulating fireproof coating. When exposed to fire, the coating forms a glaze layer that effectively insulates and blocks the fire, providing fire protection for steel structures. We comply with the GB14907-2018 standard.

Before construction begins, the surfaces of the steel structural components must be completely free of rust, and then two coats of anti-rust paint must be applied. This coating is compatible with various rust inhibitors, such as alkyd or epoxy-based anti-rust paint. The anti-rust paint must be fully cured before applying the coating. If the anti-rust paint has been on the substrate for an extended period, remove dust and grease before proceeding with construction. The construction environment must meet the following requirements: temperature between 5 and 40°C, relative humidity between 50 and 80%, and wind speed not exceeding 5 m/s. Construction should not be carried out when condensation, dew, or moisture is present on the steel component surface. Exposure to rain or direct sunlight should be avoided during construction. During humid weather, extend the curing time to ensure sufficient evaporation of moisture. When applying the main coating material, simply mix it with water on-site to prevent cracking or blistering. The mixing ratio for the primer is 1 part powder, 0.7 parts water, and 0.3 parts adhesive. After mixing for approximately five minutes, apply immediately using the spray method with a controlled coating thickness between 1 and 2 mm. Under relative humidity conditions of 50 to 80%, allow it to dry for 24 hours. The coating is fully cured when it cannot be peeled off by hand. Do not apply the next coat until the coating has fully cured. Note that the mixture should not be prepared in excessive quantities. Prepare only what is needed to avoid waste. Use the prepared mixture within 60 minutes.
